Our top priority is the health and safety of our students. Coaches will follow the policies and guidelines set by Santa Rosa City Schools and CIF/NCS. The threshold for outdoor practice is 150 AQI. When AQI hits 150, then practice will be moved indoors (e.g. treadmill workouts) or cancelled. Coaches may also modify practice time, location, or intensity, as needed. Change will be communicated through Remind.
Important Note: If parents or students have concerns about any related conditions or sensitivity to AQI, please consult your medical professional and talk to the coaches to discuss options.

Good news! Air quality is forecasted to be yellow (50-100) in the run up to NBL Championships this Friday (10/8/19). We will continue to keep an eye on the AQI, but unless you hear otherwise, we’ll proceed with standard practice times and locations.

Indoor Workout Options
Some gyms closed now due to power outage or evacuation orders, but the following gyms are accepting our runners:
- YMCA (1111 College Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95404)
- Offering all local cross county high school runners admission to run indoors.
- No large groups (go in groups of 3-4 please).
- There is a 30 minute time limit on the treadmills and kids need to be respectful of the gym rules.
- Rohnert Park 24 Hour Fitness (6345 Commerce Blvd, Rohnert Park, CA 94928)
- Athletes who are in the system in Santa Rosa should be able to workout, no parent or coach needed. Athletes NOT in the system need to have a guardian come in with them in person first time to sign paperwork.
